Comment on I-75 & Gibsonton

As a long time Gibsonton resident, I use the southbound exit ramp for Interstate 75 onto Gibsonton Drive very frequently.  The recent exit ramp / intersection improvement project was a welcome change.  I want to say how pleased I am with how the project worked out.  Prior to the improvement, the traffic for the exit ramp would back up into the right lane of the interstate, making for a very dangerous situation.  Since many people were turning left toward Riverview, those of us that wanted to turn toward Gibsonton had to wait in a very long line of traffic, or ride along the berm of the road which also makes for a dangerous situation.

The road improvement has added a second left hand turn lane for Riverview, along with a right hand lane for Gibson traffic.  The traffic flows so much better, and every time I take the exit ramp, I think to myself I should complement the county for the change.

Thank you for a job well done!
