Heat Cycle for Safety

Heat Cycle for SafetyMiami Heat basketball coach Erik Spoelstra led a group of 550 cyclists in the Heat Cycle for Safety event. The April event included a four-mile leisurely bicycle ride along Biscayne Boulevard in downtown Miami. The event, presented by the Florida Department of Transportation, was held to promote bicycle safety and cooperation among cyclists, drivers, and pedestrians. It was a fun-filled day with performances by the Heat Entertainment Team, food, and bike safety inspections. The Miami Heat Dancers, Xtreme Team, Burnie, Banana Man, and Heat fans from across South Florida were all present to cheer on our participants!
