As part of Child Passenger Safety Week 2014, September 14-20, the Florida Department of Transportation’s Safety Office teamed up with Florida’s certified child passenger safety instructors/technicians as well as law enforcement to help keep kids safe while riding in a vehicle. Florida hosted 70 events across the state during the week, culminating on Saturday, September 20, “Seat Check Saturday.”
If you’re interested in getting your child safety seat or booster seat checked, you can find a Florida child passenger safety fitting station in your city anytime during the year. A list of approved Florida child passenger fitting stations may be found here: http://www.safercar.gov/cpsApp/cps/ak/3/findfitting.htm?q_State=FL&q_Zip
