FDOT partnered with the Tampa Bay Rays to promote the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign. The signs were displayed all around the stadium. Team members from FDOT distributed shirts to fans and discussed the dangers of driving while impaired. “Impaired Vision Goggles” were used to demonstrate the effects of alcohol on balance, coordination and vision.
The interactive booth was a huge success in spreading the messages of the Drive Sober campaign. Partnerships like this with the Rays, help spread the message and target audiences of fans who may consume alcohol. FDOT wants them to be safe, designate a sober driver, or call a taxi.
