Alligator Removal on I-75

Alligator Removal on I-75

In 2015, several alligators were removed from the I-75 project from Sumter to River Road. The Florida Department of Transportation, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), and the consultant (AECOM) coordinated this effort.  FWC removed nuisance alligators located in a box culvert on I-75. One alligator measured as long as 10 feet, 3 inches.
