Manatee Operations Center staff celebrated moving into a new state of the art, energy efficient operations center in Manatee County. The $19.3 million complex replaced the old Sarasota Operations Center originally built in 1957.
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) took part in National Work Zone Awareness Week during April 11-15. To raise awareness and educate citizens on work zone safety, FDOT partnered with the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) and local law enforcement.
